Things have been a little crazy over here in terms of getting over being sick, starting my final assessment papers, and traveling in between. This weekend I was in Ireland, visiting some friends studying abroad in Dublin! Not only was i visiting my friends, but I do have a cousin on my dad’s side, who landed a nursing job in Dublin. It was very nice to have a refreshing weekend with catching up with people I care about and see some beautiful and breath taking views that Ireland has to offer.

I was only in Ireland for five days but we managed to do all the touristy things that you SHOULD do while you are there. I have put together a guide of what I was able to do and also what I have researched on where you should go and tips/advice on when you go to Ireland!

THINGS TO DO:

    • Take a tour to the Cliffs of Moher
    • Visit the Guinness Storehouse
    • Night out on the town in Dublin: The Temple Bar
    • Whale watching in West Cork
    • Stargazing in Blackrock Observatory
    • Drive the Ring of Kerry
    • Eat the sea food!
    • Appreciate the nature and the views
    • Head to the beach town (Howth) β€” walk around, grab a bite to eat, go to the markets

TIPS/ADVICE WHEN TRAVELING TO IRELAND:

    • Pack a rain jackets
    • Dress WARM: I studied abroad during the fall and it was COLD
    • Download the Taxi App β€” they do NOT have Uber
    • Always look up the time schedule for buses and trains: they were NEVER on time
