Just keeping you guys updated on my day to day life. Things have been really busy over here in the UK, I am already halfway done with school and this weekend I have just hit my fourth country since I have been abroad. This weekend I had spent a much needed weekend getaway with some distant relatives, who I have not seen since I was five years old.
It it is always so refreshing seeing loved ones you haven’t seen for so long and just catching up on life. This weekend I stayed with one of my mom’s cousins, my Uncle, who always took care of me growing up. Although I was so young to remember these people, I never forget the people who has done so much for me.
WHERE IS WALES?
Wales is apart of the United Kingdom and is only a five hour bus ride from London, England to Swansea, Wales. Let me tell you it was a short five ride for me on a National Express bus, considering I was asleep pretty much for three hours of the ride. (hehe)
WHERE DID I STAY?
I had stayed in Swansea with my Uncle, Swansea is a cute little beach town in Wales. Let me tell you, for this time of year, it was pretty CHILLY. Just a quick drive from this beach town we had visited Rhossili Bay–more breath taking views that I am so blessed to experience.
THINGS TO DO:
- Take a stroll on the Swansea Bay
- Visit the Cardiff Castle
- Hike the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
- Go fishing in the Llŷn Peninsula
I am off to Paris, France for the weekend to meet up with all my Columbia College Chicago girls who are all studying abroad at other schools across Europe and the UK. Talk soon!
xoxo — Bree
