As much as I love wearing black, white and neutrals – I am so ready to break out the bright colors for spring and summer this year! I’m partnering up with Femme Luxe Finery and pulled together some fun looks for both day-time and night-time. I’d like to say that the ‘theme’ of all of these looks collectively show off a little bit of flirty with a touch of sass/edge. ENJOY LOVES 🖤
DRESS: Brown Leopard Print Satin Ruched Side Slip Mini Dress
SIZED ORDERED: 10
STYLE TIP: I normally wear a small or medium depending on the style of dresses but this dress was EXTRA tight so I would definitely order a size 12 if your body structure is more on the curvy side. This dress did not go past my waist BUT I’ve been obsessed with the cowl neckline and cheetah print lately – a simple solution was to pair it with a leather skirt and wear the ‘dress’ as a top. 🙂
SKIRT: Light Blue Denim Paperbag Skirt
SIZED ORDERED: 8
STYLE TIP: Turning back time with this look. For my curvier girlies – it’s very easy to make a fitted skirt or dress look ‘scandalous.’ Be playful and tasteful when it comes to pairing your items. This ribbed long-sleeve is fitted but has a higher neckline. Throw on some sassy shades to accessorize and make it FUN!
DRESS: Black Glitter Ruched Bardot Mini Dress
SIZED ORDERED: 8/12
STYLE TIP: Ruching is going to be your best friend if you fail to have hip. My body structure was always the same growing up. When I got older, I ended up getting a bigger chest and grew some legs and a booty. But my waist and hips never made that ‘hour glass’ figure that some women dream of having. Fashion is an ART, throw in some geometry for some outfits to equal the perfect look. Any time of ruching or ribbing will help flatter your figure!
DRESS: Black Polka Dot Ruffle One Shoulder Mini
SIZED ORDERED: 10/12
STYLE TIP: If you a mixture of little bit of feminine with a dash of ‘masculine’ this look is calling your name. This one shouldered dress is an adorable outfit to rock during the day. Depending on how you’re feeling that day, you can rock it with a pair of strappy heels OR some combat boots.
Pulling together these looks were a lot of fun, shooting in the winter time on days where the sun was out was even more fun..until the temperature would drop about 15° in the afternoon. The warm weather is slowly creeping up, here in the Midwest. SPRING/SUMMER ’20 WHERE YOU AT?!
