Take Me Out of Office
If you would have asked me during my college career what my dream job would be, the answer would have been ‘be a creative director for a fashion brand.’ As the years went by and I immersed myself in social media and influencer relations during my post-grad career, I found a love for creating content and brand-to-influencer partnerships. Never would I have thought that in my mid-twenties I would be working full-time for a travel app, managing their influencer relations and be sent on trips to shoot content in the cutest hotels, restaurants, shops, etc.
Working in travel is a dream. I have been so blessed to have traveled around the world since I was in college and wish this app was around during my study abroad program. I was so busy during the school year, that it was difficult to remember everywhere I ate, stayed, and shopped while I was visiting a new city/country. Out of Office is an app that features travel recs from friends & influencers you trust. No more shared notes, Google Maps, or spamming group chats to plan your next vacation.
It’s been a very eventful few years since I graduated in 2019, especially with the pandemic. I am so grateful to have met my wonderful bosses (and co-founders of the app), Coabi Kastan & Jan Seale, through a very close client and friend of mine, Kim Preis. 🤍 I’m typing this as I am returning on my flight home from my very first work trip from Portland, OR and I could not me anymore thankful for this dream of a job.
